ResaleCap is a calculator and a summary of public statutes. It is general information, not legal advice, and it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Laws change, rules can be issued under them, and how a rule applies depends on the facts. Check the primary sources linked on each page (last checked 2026-10-25) and ask a qualified lawyer before relying on a result.

Results are provided as they are, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of a result.

Privacy

What the calculator does with your numbers

All calculations run in your browser. Prices you type are not sent to any server of ours. A shared link carries your inputs in the address itself, so anyone you send it to can see them.

Analytics, only if you allow it

We use PostHog Cloud EU (servers in the European Union) for product analytics, error tracking and session replay. Nothing from PostHog loads until you click Allow. If you allow it:

• PostHog sets cookies and local storage to count visits and sessions.
• We record events such as a calculation being submitted (jurisdiction, quantity, the result type), a jurisdiction being picked, a result being shared, and a report link being clicked. We do not send the prices you type as event data, and we mask them in page addresses and in replays.
• About 10% of sessions may be recorded as a session replay, with every form input masked.
• Errors in the page are reported so we can fix them.

Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. If you decline, nothing is loaded and only your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage. If you allowed analytics and later decline, capture stops at once and PostHog’s cookies and stored identifiers are deleted (only its opt-out marker stays).

We keep analytics data only as long as it helps improve the site and delete it when it no longer does. You have the right to access, correct or erase your data, to object, and to complain to a data protection authority.

Hosting

The site is static and served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes connection data (such as IP address) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Ads, affiliate links and conflicts of interest

Today ResaleCap shows no ads and no affiliate links. It may later show labelled ads, or links to ticket marketplaces that pay a commission. If so: they will be clearly marked, they will never change a calculation or a verdict, and no marketplace can pay to be described as within the cap. A marketplace that pays us is not endorsed as legal or compliant.

Names

Venue, team and company names are used only to identify them. ResaleCap is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
